There's no place like home

Made it home to Oregon... nice to be out of the concrete jungle that is LA.
Nice to have a break from the smog and water that smells like pool water. :)
Taking it easy and trying to get over the plague I picked up, relaxing and sleeping in, eating lots of home cooked food... and taking photos! Ready for lots of wolf dog photos? :)
She's so friggin cute. And playful!
And huge. Only 6 months old and she's already a good 40 pounds.
This pic would probably be the last thing you ever see if you were to encounter a wolf in the wild:
She remembered me right away. Awwwww!
Getting ready to hunt!
Mom on a bridge going over a creek. The woods are soooo green from all the rain.
Lil Buddha (album due Febuary 2007 on Interscope records) chillin' in the mossy tree.
It says "Yoneda Family". Friends of ours put that up 12 years ago overlooking the lake.
The lake is full and beautiful, tons of geese right now.

Mossy Tree (perfume due March 2007 from Elizabeth Taylor - she got tired of the whole white diamonds thing.)...
God rays! Welcome!
The view of the lake changes dramatically after just a few minutes. Purdy!
I miss you Akita! You're the best!
Bast reflecting on life and nature.... and what she can catch. :)
Lil' Shiva (Album due on EMI, April 2007 featuring Timbaland and Mos Def).

You probably know puppies like to chew... does she ever!

I know you are probably thinking "Awww what a cute puppy".... well, she also loves to leave presents for us all around the house. Like, for example, entrails of small furry creatures. Occasionally she'll pick them up and happily fling them in the air.
Tesla, the ageless kitty. 17 years and still going strong!

Panther kitty FTW!
Happy Holidays ya'll! Peace out!

Vanguard clubbin, Hollywood style

Went to Hollywood tonight to celebrate Will's birthday (Happy Birthday Will!). It was a fun night even though it was raining really hard, and so the place wasn't very crowded. :( It's more fun to dance when places are crazy busy.
Here I am next to a buddha:
See, I never lie.
Here's a crazy girl trying to jump into the crowd from the rafters, she was ready to end it all!

Kidding. Paid performer. She was kinda boring - it doesn't take much talent to sit on a swing and rock back and forth. Yawn.

This girl on the other hand, had some mad skillz.

She starts it out standing in the curtain-thingie. Ho hum.

Oh shnap! She's flying through the air in a Bruce Lee upside down karate kick! Cruiseazy!

They have a great laser & lighting system, the laser lights could project 3d images in the air. Pretty cool.

At one point the whole sound system blew a fuse and it sounded awful. It was like the worst sound in the world, but very very loud. To top it off, it was right as the bar closed at 2am. Baaad timing.

VIP room! It looks lame with lighting. Boo on the flash. Boo, boo. I'm not sure what's going on below. People always look dumb when they are dancing and you take a random photo.
They had a cheesy dancing pole in the VIP area. It was hilarious, at one point there was totally trashy looking girl and I told Will that "She was destined to visit the stripper pole. Soon.". Sure enough, two minutes later she was on it! It ... wasn't pretty.
Time for the MySpace arm shots! I'm a master! Yes! I have a degree! Or something! Yay!

The DJ of the night kinda sucked. The VIP area dj was much better then the one down below. His stuff was soo repetitive and to top it off, he commited the ultimate D-Lo DJ party killer: no vocals! BOOOO!
Random crowd shot. Given it is the holidays, that popular Christmas tune came into my head. It went something like:
On The First Day Of Vanguard, my new club gave to me
*sing along*
12 Sluts a Dancin
11 Girls flying through the air
10 People a Tripping
9 Beats is all this DJ knows
8 Lights a flashing in my Eyes
7 Gayasians wearing Abercrombie shirts
6 Ugly people seem to work in groups
5 Times too smelly guy just walked by me
4 Smokers a smoking something that isn't tobacco
3 Spilled Drinks on that Girls Shirt
2 People a Puking in the bathroom
And a D-Lo in the Vanguard-tree.

Yes that doesn't all really rhyme, but I never claimed to be a singer/songwriter/actor/musician.
Just Jesus.

Lasers in the background FTW! I almost look like I'm showing the Klingon sign with my hands... whew, disaster averted.
Random BOOTY shot! Whatcha gon do with all that junk, all that junk up in your trunk?

Crazy one hand sideways SUPER alpha hyper gamma ULTRA diagonal myspace shot! OMG I'm the myspace camera god! .... Crap, not fuzzy enough.... nevermind, I suck... also, I guess it'd help the Myspace quota if there was underage jailbait in the photo. Hmph.
P.S. Altho not related to crazy club outings, I had to post a pic of my new Armani jacket. Yes, start with the LA jokes, but I love it. :D With the new job I have to dress nicer, and Armani stuff fits me really well. Hard to find the tall slim clothing!

yes, I'm serious. grrrrrr. argh.

Thanksgiving, Vegas style

So we went to Vegas for Thanksgiving again this year. It was fun, but like twice as crowded as last year. :( Sigh. The traffic was awful going there and coming back, even though we left on Thanksgiving day and came back on Saturday. Boo! Still had fun though.
My anger with traffic ranged from obscene....
To outright exhaustion.
Once finally there, we got in line for the Bellagio buffet around 7:00 - unfortunately the line was already shut off! BOO! Freaking 2.5 hour line. Nothing like last year. So, that sucked. We ended up going to the Bellagio cafe which actually had an awesome turkey dinner, complete with super tasty pumpkin soup and pumpkin pie. It was delicious!
While in line we were in the Bellagio indoor gardens. They were gorgeous!
If not a lil spooky. :D
The lights indoor constantly change, always providing a different view.
The level of gardening and decoration is amazing. I'm sure it takes awhile to set up.

Simply gorgeous! The birds made out of plants were so cool.
Squash anyone?
The gang at dinner....

Next, we ventured through the Bellagio shops to see how the other half lives... ehr, shops. Apparently, the rich folk buy things like: A dress made out of chocolate!

Now granted I *may* have had one .... or six... drinks with dinner. But I'm telling you, the chicks in the shops area were HOT! I couldn't resist hanging with a few of them. These girls were so fab... mode, even! They were such posers, I tried to hang with them....
But everyone knows Chanel is for poor rich people. I mean, come on, they sell that shit at Macy's ya'll. Here I'm pointing out Dior.... and stuff.
"Come on baby, I'm a producer. You wanna be famous? Take my card. Are you a model? You'd be a star in Hollywood...."I guess mirrored fronts are in!

These girls were COLD. Not only did they not say much, and were kinda still, they were freaking blasting snow!
Then we walked through The Venetian. Gorgeous!

Oooh lala!
Then it was on to La Reve at The Wynn. Awesome show! It's a huge circular stage with water everywhere and the performers come from underwater, the roof flying down on ropes and other things, etc. It's by Dragone who started Cirque du Soleil. Awesome show, funny too. Everyone loved it.Water! Nighttime! Fun!

Unfortunately I got sick later in the trip - the cigarrette smoke was really horrid this year. :( But still had a great trip, even with the crowds and traffic!
