Bday Party, Vegas Style!

This weekend I had an AMAZING time partying it up in Vegas! My boy Fred was turning 29ish and and 46(!!) of his closest friends came out to party it up with him!

It was so much fun, many amazing photos, some hilarious, some really can't be blogged. ;) Friday night started off with a suite party at our hotel - THEhotel at Mandalay Bay!
W/Chad & Brad - and probably the last picture taken with my liver still in working order. C'est la vie...

I wasn't too camera happy on Friday night (WTF, right?), but we did head out later that night for some dancing:
W/the gorgeous Jenn who was a professional dancer and was deff professionally amazing.
Chad and I got all Street when Sasha Fierce was on, ya'll!
W/the two Chads! :D

It was a really fun night that kept going and going and ended in the wee hours of the morning... it was clear this was going to be an amazing weekend and I had already decided that Fred & Jason had great friends.
Look kids, Vegas during the daylight! It's notsopretty.

After Brad and I hit up the Caesar's Forum shops, we had dinner that night at House of Blues, where I will forever heart my newest BFF's Mike and Erin:
As they practically shouted "OMFG It's Jamy Winehouse!" when they saw me at dinner - yep they recognized me from Halloween. How funny is that? They were so cool to hang out with and it was great to get to know them better out of costume - altho I suppose Jamy might be a bit more fun to hang out with then lil ol' me. ;)

After dinner we stopped at Mix at the top of Mandalay, it's one of the best views in Vegas:
Such a great view! Plus we seriously walked by three plasticsized messes in the bar - they were like walking billboards to not over do plastic surgery. URGH! It was a World Of No in their faces.

Next was another suite party which was a total blast:
Word to the wise: If Fred offers to make you a margarita. Say yes, turn in your keys, and ready the Tylenol for tomorrow. Yum!

Next it was off to The Pussycat Dolls lounge at PURE for their show and more dancing! And because I'm a jackass, I will now give you quotes I heard* while taking these pictures from the lovely Dolls.
*Heard them say, or I fabricated them, you know, whatever
"ANTS IN MY PANTS! SERIOUSLY YOU GUYSSSHHHH!"
"Twelve years of professional ballet and dance, and I now bend and squat for a living. Thanks Mom and Dad!"
"I used to be a hottrannymess, but now I have a bowtie and a flower on my motorcycle hat. This makes me a laaaaddyyyy."
"F***! What are these people doing here? I just wanted to take a bath!"
.... not real.

"SURE! SURE! SUREEEE DEODORANT! WOOOO!"
"OMG you guys, did you hear that last TED keynote? I think I love Al Gore more than spray tans now!"
"F***! Lost my contac again!! Where is it?? F*** F***!!!"
"Sheeeeiiiittttt girl. I gots no idea what that is on yer foot. Try my Dr. Scholls."

Heheh, all stupid jokes aside, they rocked the house and we had a blast. They were really fun to see and put on a great show!
BFF's-X2 Erin & Mike! I later nicknamed them Uma and GI Joe. lol

Next it was on to the outer hangout area of PURE for a bit of dancing...
Jenn and Andrew are so cool! They were a blast to hang with.

With my future ex wife Melanie, who I confessed my undying love for. I think she's used to that.
A few drinks in, and I'm not quite showing my tonsils in every photo yet. lolololol
With Christina and Beth who were soooo funny, I almost dislocated my jaw. You can sorta see it hanging on hinges here.
LOOK OUT BRAD! PAPARAZZI EXTENDO ARM CAM!!! SH**!
Are we in Paris? Parvegas?
Carolina and Rocco were such a cute couple! Doesn't she look like Penelope Cruz? :)
Their amazing peeps came from NYC, Halifax, and elsewhere to celebrate Fred's bday!
I kind of love that Jessica and I are giving the same smirk here. :) We later fought for Melanie's affections... I lost, but the doctors say my arm should heal in 5-6 months. My pride... notsomuch.
W/my gorgeous Venice homegirl Angelina who took some amazing shots and is one hell of a good dancer... P.S. Angelina are you checking out my cleavage? LOVES IT!
It kills me that Erin and I are giving the same "Uh huh." club smirk in this shot. :)
Hi Sexyback? Party of one, your table's ready. Jessica was smokin'! I was going to write a "Repair my car anytime" joke, but really, it was too easy.

The views at PURE were amazing:
A-may-zing. ;)
I fell in lurve with my girls in case you couldn't tell:
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my favorite pic from the trip. LOLOLOL I'm such a dork. Sometimes I wonder how the hell *I* ended up in these ridiculous places with these amazing people. :)

After PURE it was on to Krave - but in a 16 person Hummer Limo:
Which, let me tell you, was kind of insaaaaaneeee. FUN!
I'm deaf now, but you know, it was worth it! :D

At Krave the ceiling acrobatic girls were freaking me out:
"Don't jumppppppp!!!"
Alternate caption: "Gurllllll, there's no $1's in the ceiling. Just sayin'."

Bottle service started and the party really began:
lol! Loves it! Doesn't this look like an ad for a trendy new Vodka? I'll buy 3 bottles! The lovely Marisa knows how to rock the devil horns - a girl after my own heart!
With the Birthday Boy!!! Fred got some great photos. Fun fact about Fred: He once ate a carb, in 2003. ;) Aaaand with that I'm gonna stop typing and go to the gym...
We set the dancefloor on fire and danced for many, many hours. It was SO MUCH FUN!

Aaaaaand the acrobatic girls are still freaking me the F out. Seriously, that just doesn't look natural.
"Has anyone seen my wallet? I think it fell out...."
I've decided it's physically impossible for Zara (center) to take a bad photo.

All in all it was an amazing weekend, filled with lots of laughs, tons of dancing, partying, and most of all meeting a ton of incredible new people.
Fred & Jason rock - they sure know how to throw a party!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRED! :)

Some Raveonettes And A Lil Windy City

Last Saturday I made my way out to the Henry Fonda Music Box in Hollywood with Josh to see one of my favorite bands:

The Raveonettes! They do 50's and 60's style music - but are a Danish rock band. Yes, it's that awesome.

You may remember the last post I did on them in 2008, I've seen them 3 times since I've moved to LA and every show has been great.
They did a range of music from their last several albums...
And sounded freaking amazing.
Oh, their lighting rocks too. :)
I LLOVEEEEEEE YOU SHAROONNNNNNNNN!
She's my lil Swedish Angel. XO
Josh and I had a blast!

I also have to give a special blog shout out to my Chicago BFF's Jenn & Marv:

They took a break from the 15 degree weather to come rough it out in socal, where it was a balmy 65 upon landing. Yes, please shed a tear for them. I met up with them Thursday night at the Custom Hotel in Westchester:
Which is surprisingly 'hip', or as the kids say, fierce! It was great seeing them as we haven't hung out since Julie and Vince's wedding! Oh and Vince looks kinda surprised here because we spiked his drink. Drunk drugged driving is always good for a laugh, kids!
